Assalamualaikum…

Ada lagi ke pembaca blog ni..

Dah hamper 5 bulan tak update blog ni… Lima bulan juga lah kami budak2 arts dari CFS Nilai berpindah ke PJ… bila orang tanya seronok ke… of course, I akan jawab, SERONOK because dekat dengan rumah…jimat tambang 4.50 ringgit je tau kalau naik bas… walaupun bukan selalu balik rumah…

Dah2 jangan melalut pulak… Sebenarnya apa yang membuatkan I teruja nak menulis blog ni bila UPU punya result dah release… banyak pulak lah yang menjengah entri lama Asasi Sains Kemanusiaan tu… x larat den nak menjawab satu2..

Memandangkan final exam pun dah habis…boleh lah menulis entri sedikit….Alhamdulillah, selesai jugak final exam sem ni.

Berbalik kepada Asasi Sains Kemanusiaan @ Human Science (xde nya perkataan Sains Kemanusiaan orang sebut kat CFS ni)… Congrats kepada siapa juga yang dapat tawaran ke Pusat Asasi UIA atau lebih dikenali dengan CFS, IIUM terutamanya students HS…

Mulai Jan yang lalu, semua pelajar CFS menetap di bawah satu bumbung iaitu di bumi PJ tercinta ini kecuali students Economics di Gombak campus. Jangan fobia atau takut dengan CFS IIUM.. just through it.. u will enjoy…

Well, korang jangan pikir kerja apa yang korang dapat… just throughout your studies.. the will job will come to u… HS sangat interesting and everything about what around u… Saya sangat marah bila orang kutuk HS… Padahal orang HS nil ah yang sangat penting dalam bidang pentadbiran (admin)… don’t worry about your course lah dik oi….

First of all, let me inform u that I’m HS student intake 2011/2012 with 1 year and half duration studies.

Ok nak cerita sikit, apa yang korang belajar kat dalam HS ni….Sebelum tu,kita bahagikan kepada 4 bahagian iaitu Core Course, Service Course, Department Required Course and Language.

CORE COURSE

GHM2113- Basic Method Research and Report Writing

In this course, u will learn the way on how you want to conduct research and make a report. This quite tough because it need u to find material and read it to write a report. This course usually will be offered to u in second or the next semester. But don’t worry, it is not need u to write a thesis but just introduction to make u familiar with the report writing’s situation.

HSM2123 –Basic Communication

Oh ya… basic Communication is one of the major course that will be offered in main campus. Actually, I’ll take this course next semester. So, for those who want to studies about communication that will involve u in print or mass media, u can take this course in main campus.

HSM2133-Basic History

Interesting course actually even I’m not taking this course yet. But if u like history, u will interested with it. The lecturers for this subject also the best. Actually, I want to major in this course. As a preparation, u can ‘memorize’ map now, because in this subject u will have a map test.

HSM2143-Basic Political Science

One of the things that attract me to this university is because they offer this course. I cannot deny that in this subject, u will learn about administration, political and many concept of administration. Some of the lecturer for this subject is also familiar with society.

HSM2253-Contemporary Issues in the Muslim World

Actually, I just finished this subject this semester. This subject discussing about contemporary issues like Palestine, 9/11 and Muslim Minorities. In this subject need u criticize and look the issues deeply. I like my lecturer for this subject, Bro. Azib, very sempoi..

HSM2263-Basic Psychology

Actually, I’m confuse why too lot of people say this subject interesting without learn it first? Whether this course glamour or they are not understand what course all about.. In this subject, u will learn 12 topics in Psychology that related. If u get lecturer like me (Mdm. Anisah), u will enjoy.. The other lecturer also the best…

GRM2273-Introduction to Islamic Revealed Knowledge

For me, if u taking Pendidikan Quran & Sunnah in SPM.. it will make u easy to understand this subject. U also will learn concept of Islamisation in IIUM… Just a simple subject. Thank u to my superb lecturer, Sir Raheem.

HSM2283-Basic Sociology & Anthropology

Very interesting subject. U will learn about society, culture, and also family in this subject. It is about what around u. It is not too hard to understand this subject. There are 2 lecturers only for this subject, Mdm. Sza and Mdam Nursiah… both of them are very good explainer…

SERVICE COURSE

FIM1223-Basic Themes of Al-Quran

In this course, u will learn about certain topic like Knowledge, Al-Quran and Science and so on that related with certain verses from Al-Quran. Just a simple subject like Pendidikan Islam in your secondary school. As a preparation, u can memorize Surah Furqan verses 61-77 (if I’m not mistaken).. This memorization will carry 10 marks…

FIM 1113-Understanding Islam

I’m not taking this subject. This subject offer to students who taking Pendidikan Islam in secondary school. Based on what my friend said, from this course u will learn about concept in Islam like pillars of Islam and Iman, Mudharrabah and akhlaq.

FIM1123-Religions in Malaysia

I’m taking this subject because it offer to student that taking PSI and PQS in secondary school. In this subject, u will learn about other religions. Very interesting subject and u can compare it with Islam. Thank also to my lecturer for this subject, Mdm Salina… U are very fluent explainer…

ISM2112-Computer 1

This subject teaches u about certain system on computer as well as on how to use Oppen Office Writer, Calc and Impress. U will look it easy if u more to computer. But not me!!!

DEPARTMENT REQUIRED COURSE

GSM2113-Intro. To Critical and Creative Thinking Skills.

This subject also one of the interesting subject that needs u to have a critical and creative thinking on one issues or situation. Based on what my friends said, this subject is easier to get highest marks.hahaha….

LANGUAGE

When talking about language, IIUM very focus on language, which are English and Arabic. Your duration studies here also based on your English Placement Test(EPT) and Arabic Placement Test(APT). Don’t worry about Arabic if u never have experience in Arabic. U will learn from basic here.

For English, u should reach Level 6 here to make u go to main campus. That’s you’re your writing, reading and speaking test should get band 5.5 every one and overall 6.

For Arabic, u should learn until Part 2 to make u go to main campus.

For DURATION OF STUDIES as below:

English –exempted, Arabic-exempted >1 year

English- Lv 6, Arabic- exempted >1 year

English –Lv 6, Arabic –Part 2- 1 year (not sure)

English –Lv 6, Arabic –Part 1- 1 year and half

English –Lv5, Arabic-exempted > 1 year and half

English –Lv5, Arabic –Part 2 > 1 year and half

English-Lv5, Arabic-Part 1 >1 year and half

English-Lv4, Arabic-exempted >1 year and half

English –Lv 4, Arabic –Part 2- 1 year and half (have short sem)

English –Lv 4, Arabic –Part 1-2 years

So for that, make sure u do the best for your EPT and APT….
